David Parkinson
David Parkinson is a technology Executive with 25+ years of demonstrated success in leadership roles. Dave has spent the last few years as CEO of River Ridge Consulting Group II, a professional services firm assisting technology based companies in interim management and outsourcing. Before starting River Ridge, Dave was the Founding Director, President and CEO for Books 24x7. Dave developed business strategy and executed as "first mover" in providing "Referenceware" to corporate e-learning market in 2000. Book's 24x7 was sold to SkillSoft in 2001. Prior to Books24x7, Dave was a Partner, and the CFO for the Boston Consulting Group. Previously, Dave was the Co-Founder of SystemSoft Corporation which was first to market with power management and bios firmware for the PC lap top marketplace. Before SystemSoft, Dave was CFO at Phoenix Technologies. Previously Dave was the Corporate Controller at Cullinet Software and he spent several years at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Dave has also been a Director of Artesia Technologies, Boston Consulting Group, Concentric Visions, Excelergy, Savantis Systems, Site 59.com and System Soft Corporation. Dave holds a Bachelors degree in Philosophy from Suffolk University and a Masters Degree from Northeastern University.

Joseph Gildea
Joseph has over twenty years of progressive financial experience in multi-national, publicly traded and startup companies. He joined River Ridge shortly after inception and has provided consulting services in the areas financial reporting, project management and organizational reviews. During his time at River Ridge, he has also worked on several restatements of billion dollar multinational companies. Prior to River Ridge he served as the Vice President of Finance for the Forum Corporation, a subsidiary of Pearson Inc, and was responsible for all financial functions and worked as an integral part of the M&A team responsible for the sale of the company. Before joining Forum, he was the Vice President of Finance for Books24x7 where he developed the Finance and Administration functions and worked to secure multiple financing sources. Joe has also held financial management positions in Quebecor Printing (USA) Corp and Phoenix Technologies LTD and KPMG Peat Marwick.

Ken Canavan
Ken has 30 years of career experience in the financial and accounting arena across a broad mix of industries, as well as companies – from start-up to Fortune 100. He joined River Ridge Consulting Group II in 2005. Prior to joining River Ridge, Ken served as an independent financial consultant assisting small to medium sized companies in financial restatements, improving the efficiency of their accounting operations and in financial systems implementation. Ontwo specific occasions, Ken served as interim Chief Financial Officer. Having extensive experience as a senior financial executive, he served as the Chief Financial Officer for a number of organizations from 1988-2001, most notably from 1992-1999 with the Trading Services Group, a division of Thomson Financial Services, where he managed the Finance, Accounting and Administrative areas of the Group which grew from revenues of $100 million to over $250 million. Prior to joining Thomson, Ken served as the Controller of a venture capital backed software development company and held a number of financial positions with Digital Equipment Corporation. He began his career with PriceWaterhouseCoopers and graduated from Boston College with a B.S. degree in Accounting and Marketing.

Patty Ward
Patty has over twenty years of progressive financial experience in multi-national, publicly traded and startup companies. She joined River Ridge upon returning to the Boston area 3 years ago. Prior to River Ridge she worked as consulting CFO with CFO Selections, LLC providing services to small to medium size business in the Seattle area, in the areas of audit, financial management, financial planning and analysis, reporting, venture capital financing and human resources management. Prior to consulting she served as CFO for UniSite Software, Inc, VP of Finance for iTango Software, and Director of Finance for Switchboard, Inc. Previous roles included financial planning and analysis positions with the former Banyan Systems (ePresence), Lotus Development (now a division of IBM) and Microamerica (currently Merisel). She obtained her New York CPA license while working for KPMG Peat Marwick in Buffalo, NY, has a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting from St. John Fisher College in Rochester, NY, and an MBA from Babson College in Wellesley, MA.

Greg Cataldo
Greg Cataldo has fifteen years of financial experience in publicly traded, private and startup companies. He joined River Ridge shortly after inception and has provided consulting services in the areas of financial reporting of 10Q’s and 10K’s, general ledger close, restatement, and audit. Prior to River Ridge he served in Senior Accounting positions at the Forum Corporation, a subsidiary of Pearson Inc, and Books24x7. He was responsible for reviewing and distribution of monthly financial reports as well as analysis and budget reports including all day to day duties as well as all the monthly financial reporting to upper management. Greg is a graduate of North Adams State College with a Bachelor’s of Science in Administration degree.

Deborah Briere
Debbie Briere has over fourteen years of Human Resources experience in publicly traded, private, and startup companies. She has been with River Ridge since inception and has provided consulting services in all areas of Human Resources. She has been responsible for implementing HR policies, procedures, and practices, including but not limited to, HR compliance, benefits administration, payroll, recruiting, and employee relations. Prior to River Ridge, Debbie served as the Director of Human Resources for Books24x7 (subsidiary of SkillSoft Corporation) and prior to Books24x7 she worked in Human Resources at The Boston Consulting Group, Inc. and Elcom International. Debbie received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Bridgewater State College.
